Robin is drawn to a knotty question. Why should public service feel harder than it needs to?
He studied Computer Science and Mathematics at DePauw University, earning departmental honors in both fields. He later joined the City of Syracuse Innovation Office as a Data Engineer. Much of his work helped city data move cleanly so residents could get what they needed with less fuss. Back in Nepal, Robin began studying how existing systems such as the National Identity Card, Nagarik App, digital payments, and passport services could work better together. His research asks how these parts can move as one and make consular care quicker for Nepalis living overseas. He also spends time with artificial intelligence, multi agent systems, and digital public infrastructure. He enjoys big questions, such as how technology can earn a quiet place in everyday life, how public institutions can feel more human, or whether the Yeti has a National Identity Card. The future he imagines is one where government feels closer and ready to help.
